Like the way the light falls on the double bass player Scott Owen, there's something about a double bass... the sound! or is it because I used to play Rockabilly/Psychobilly myself...

Here is my behind the drums with Masto on the double bass and Loz on guitar and trying to sing..., about 17 years ago...

Cool neighbour...

Yesterday when I brought back the wife from hospital, after a 'wounded' knee operation, we stoppped at our local shopping center to pick up some serious pain killers. My wife stayed in the car and I did some additional shopping... As I turned back to our car I found out we had a new cool neighbour...


A split window VW transporter...!! I just had to capture it with my mobile phone...

Friends of ours came by a vew weeks a go to show Michelle's new black Sportster 883R. It's a beauty mate! Gave me the chanche to capture Pat's bike on camera again. I think in the early days they didn't mind breaking down and waiting for the guys from the road assistance crew. Some of them had real cool means of transportation... take a look at this one a converted WLA...

I did my fair share of downloading/borrowing from the net and saved them to a folder called 'The Archive'. All sorts of pics and all sorts of bikes. From Choppers to bobbers from vintage bikes to New school bikes. Here is one I came across again last week when I was going through the archives...

Last week, on that oldtimer run, we ran into loads of old motorcycles... crappy ones but also some interresting sickles... Monkey's as above and what about the one below, was it a doctors bike with injector...?



It became busy so fast that it was hard to make nice picas without ugly people in it... sad but true... so I went for details instead.

Next month they gonna auction this entire demolition site filled with 800 classic cars, found in the forests in Switzerland a couple of years ago. In the neighbour village this week we had the annual festivities for a week. This year the closing main activity was an oldtimer day. On the field next to the old castle old trucks, bicycles, mopets, cars and motorcycles gethered. I ran into this nice one... I have a blister on my finger and a over heated camera...

Cool shutters...

For my holidays I also try to set myself , or along the way spontanious come to, a topic for cool pictures. Most of the times (like this time) I make a picture and think 'Hey that's nice... let's try to make another one like that...'
In my head is still that song from Snow Patrol... Crack the shutters... In France a lot of buildings have shutters/blinds with cracked/dried out falling off paint and they seem to be nice subjects for cool picas... Here are some of them...
