Here is this weeks winner of the Sunday Special...
Got my scanner working again and here is the first of some old picas of my dad... This is 1952, when he was with the Dutch Royal Air Force in Soesterberg, The Netherlands... He was stationed there as a airplane mechanic... Here is also where he gained his hearing problems... He's the guys second row from the top, first one next to the plane on the right hand side...

Woke up yesterday, the meter said minus 6 degrees... Opend the curtains and saw my cold cold Geisha... Jezus... she was froozen... A few hours later the sun got her warmed up again...

Went through the old shoe box again and ran into some very cool old pictures (not this one) of my dad... I think 1959 or so when he was with the Royal Airforce... Have to get the old scanner up and running again but when I do... ooh man I will share... very cool!!

Cool snoow pica...

No, this is not my car... Just a pica I found on the web... It illustrates perfect how I found my world this morning... soft and white... A 2 - 4 inch thick layer of snoow.
Public transportation for me to commute to work and back... this morning it took me two hours to get there, on The Young Geisha 40 minutes door to door.
Traffic was a disaster, total chaos... all because of 7,5 cm's of snoow...

Cool cold, cold winter adventures...

Man I hate the cold winter...! And we're only halfway now... No snoow at the moment, maybe tomorrow some more of the terrible stuff... Yesterday evening commuting back home from work in Amsterdam, arrived home with -4 degrees at 18:30 or so... For the first time my fingers gone numb from freezing... And hereby, my funky friendws, I can tell you that defrosting fingers hurt, like hell...!!!

This morning it was even colder, just had to jump on the scooter again and see what happend... After riding to work in -5 degrees Celsius,... not so bad... let's wait how I feel this after noon when I get home
