Last year, just before a foreign trip with friends (which I missed at the last moment due to another case of pneumonia), I had to replace the carb. My Mikuni kept pooring gasoline out through the overflow tube, on my exhaust...So, here we go... I captured this with my small digital camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70), standing in the back of the hall about 50 meters from the stage right behind the soundman's pit. The pictures turned-out a bit wobbely but the video turned out pretty good, I think. My god did Chris play his gitars like the devil was on his tail or not? We had a good time, and if you were there; I was the one in the back singing along with every bloody song mate!

For our weddingday my oldest brother arranged this beautiful six cylinder 1948 DeSoto. When it was imported from the US, it used to be black...
When my father was drafted (at 21) for his militairy service, he did the course and became a airplane mechanic... Due to this job while he was in the army/airforce he saddly lost a part of his hearing. At the moment I'm struggeling with hearing loss as well so unfortunatly I know how he feld.
So he rides to the front of the group and plans a cool slip 'n' stop but something goes wrong... and he fails...
Thisone, I found on the web, must be from the second half of the fourties/early fifties; pilot hat, classic engineers boots, rolled up jeans...
Here is another one from the old shoe box... Here is my mom sitting on the hood of my grandfathers Vauxall and my dad giving her picked flowers.
So with eight bikers we went to the 18th Rogues MC Choppershow, which is held annually. When we arrived it was already quite busy and I couldn't wait to get my camera out to make some cool pictures. Outside there where interesting bikes and on the show itself it was the same recepy, with even a "B-movie" booth made by friends of ours: Sik, Marco and Coco. Good job guys!! Here is a first impression of bikes down there...

Here's one how they had fun in the early days... a little racing and a lot of spectators on both sides of the street waiting for something to happen... These days, saddly, it's very often only a lot of "Show 'n Shine"... "...See all the chrome I added from the catalog..." What happend to the old black paint spray can or brush...? That's why I like the old school style and the un-restored vintage bikes.
Yesterday, easter, we had the annual Rogues MC Chopper Show and yeah, it was cool again. Weather was great about 20 degrees celsius, show was cool bikes were cool and this year a lot of people came on their bikes. One of them out side the show was a Larry Indianish chopper with an Amsterdam Pirates tank. Another nice detail is the different rocker boxes; one Pan one Shovel... When they left I found out that the owner was not a slow rider, doesn't spare the bike at all...!!
Fourty years ago they had this cool "Motorcycle Club's Bible" going around... Does anyone know what happend, is it still around?
Here's another one from the attic. Great looks on the guy on the springer, found it in a 22 year old biker mag.
O.K., this Sunday was a very busy Sunday on the road with motorcycles... some of them got over enthousiastic and lost their lives... so uncool !!!
Here is one of my favorites so far... Taken on an annually run with the Chees Hunters, here is my friend Sik repairing his mastercylinder only 5 minutes (or was it three...?) after taking off.
So the big question is... will I make it this year without health problems so I can go to the rally??
Ola kala, today the temp here in The Netherlands prob. will hit the 20 degrees Celsius... Me says: RIDE OUT! for everyone who didn't yet... really it's not so hard... (it ain't winter anymore, it was cold then not anymore!!) just take the bike out and ride it!
She's also pretty unique and thinking to herself: "... Ok, sweetheart. You look so silly whit your helmet... While you go for a ride on little pretty cycle, I'll take that unique handsome race car driver for a 'ride'... ha ha ha..."
Yeah!! My sisters were cruising around our old hometown on mopets like thisone, with high handlebars... kind of apehangers?
