Rogues MC Choppershow 2013...

Last Sunday, Easter, it was freakin' cold outside, and we had some bloody snow aswell... But got on my Japanse Geisha and rode half an hour North...

Our annual non-offical sickle-season opener; the Rogues MC choppershow in Hoogwoud, the Netherlands. This year 'bobbers' was the theme... In my humble opinion, there were to little bobbers and to much colours...
And ofcourse that couldn't go without a fight. In the first song the rockabilly band played, right under my nose
[one meter in front of me -  trying to shoot a sickle for you guys], some Belgian angels tried to punch out the lights of a local colour...
Sofar for the relaxed atmosfere... Took my pictures and left. In the air was flying that this wouldn't be the only punches that were gonna fly...

This year is my ten year anniversary with this cool Australian band... I ran into their music when we were travelling in Australia in 1999... Never stopped loving their music...

Here is one I took 24th of April in Amsterdam. Concert of The Living End, a real cool Australian band... music style: rockabillischpunkrockathing or so...
Like the way the light falls on the double bass player Scott Owen, there's something about a double bass... the sound! or is it because I used to play Rockabilly/Psychobilly myself...

Here is my behind the drums with Masto on the double bass and Loz on guitar and trying to sing..., about 17 years ago...

Cool live show, ...the images...!!

So, here we go... I captured this with my small digital camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70), standing in the back of the hall about 50 meters from the stage right behind the soundman's pit. The pictures turned-out a bit wobbely but the video turned out pretty good, I think. My god did Chris play his gitars like the devil was on his tail or not? We had a good time, and if you were there; I was the one in the back singing along with every bloody song mate!

Tomorrow night 24th of April 2009, Melkweg in Amsterdam; The Living End, from Australia, live in concert... here in Amsterdam! It's been eight long years since they've been here...

Show with support act starts aroun 8:00 PM; You'll know where I will be... Right, enjoying a load of rockabillyish-punkrock! Bagger mate! Possible hangover Saturday ha ha ha... Don't wait up for me!!!
