This nice one I found surfing the Net... Must be some kind of sidecar heaven somewhere around the 20's or 30's of the previous century...
While I was checking the sidecar in the pica, I noticed on the right hand side a hand holding the flag... ha ha ha... nice detail...!

Sunday Special...

This is this weeks Sunday Special winner...
It's 24 years ago, 1986... an accident on the main road in our neighbourhood... In the background is the BMW cop bike... The bike cop has a load of 'Starsky & Hutch' or even 'Chips' style...
He is trying to keep his cool in his white jacket (completed with an orange(!) helmet), nowerdays they wear fluoricent yellow jackets and helmets...

This morning I got a wake up call (or should I call it a near death experience...??) from one of my neighbours...
I left home to go to work, accellerated pretty fast (on the Young Geisha looking like the one above...) and about 150 meters before the crossing some sleepyhead neighbourhood woman decided to pull up from her parking space without looking over her shoulder... Lucky for me there was almost no traffic from the oposite direction so I could throw the bike to the other side of the road... I lloked over my shoulder and gave her a very angry fist... > no reaction...
Let me quote a Living End song...: "WAAKEE UUPP, WAKE UP !!"

Cool Sunday Special...

How could it be anything else...?
This weeks Sunday Special ofcourse is about the old car graveyards in Belgium... In that village there were three (!!) car graveyards... The whole weekend I kept banging my head for not going there earlier this year and now lost the chance to capture them...
But... on the net a load of photo's are flying around... So I did my fair share of saving them to my harddisk for personal use...
This is one of them, I converted it to greyscale and added the white border...

FUCK, fuck, fuck, fuck...

In the last month of last year I set myself a new personal goal and I almost made it... Unfortunatly, this afternoon I found out that all the Rusty oldtimers, that's what this is about, are gone...
The car cemetary in the South of Belgium where I was planning a trip to, is dismantled and all the cars are taken to the tip...
In the woods about a hundred classic cars where left to rust away between the trees... I think I would have taken great pictures like these myself... Now, I surfing the net to find as much picas of this as possible... Just to putt them in my personal archive and decorate my walls with...

Me stupid!! Should just have taken that 4 hour drive to get there...!!!

Some more of that good stuff... The red old school Panhead chopper had a hand painted 'The Old school Cafe' lettering on the tank... Very neat bike...
Also loved the mix on the copper colored bike... new techniques and a retro look... nice mix!

Cool Easter Sunday Special...

Easter Sunday Special... The Rogues MC annual Chopper show... We had some wet weather so loads of people didn't use their scooter to go to the show... including me... not that I don't ride in the wet but this year we made it a family field trip...
Brought the misses and my kids to the show... was it trying to adjucate them? I guess so... Junior likes bikes as well dough he said he liked the cool cars more, the show we visited last September...
