Looks like someone hit the delete button on me... Unfriended (is that a word?) me at FB, all because I wondered who threw the shit out of the window I found (not for the first time) in our front garden... tried to keep it light-weighted and made a slightly funny remark at the end...

Apparently it was forbidden to talk about that even I didn't know who threw it out... The reaction to my post was waaaaaayyyy over the top... And No, I don't remove posts just because you don't like it...

This morning OMW to work, about 4 degrees Celsius... Foggy world in rurral surroundings of Amsterdam... Fog above the water and fields... (In the fog you can just see the 'Flying Dutchman' on his way to Amsterdam Central station)... Natures creates beautiful presents these times of the year...
It's also time again to get the thicker gloves out...

Whilst surfing the net... Reading some strange story about emergency plastic pea-bags in public transport in the Netherlands here... I heared on the radio the trains have an annual problem with falling leaves on the tracks... Every bloody year the same problem...
If they can think of plastic piss-bags for trains without (!) toillets, they can think of tiny brooms for each passanger, to use when the leaves fall... Can't they..?

OMW to work this morning... I just had to turn around and catch this scene... Big cruise ship 'Aida' making her way back to the wide waters of the North Sea... Leaving Amsterdam behind her in the early morning light...

Cool past glory...

Past glory, that seemed to be the theme of this holidays pictures after running into this beautiful building. Next to the railroad station in the village of Jemelle in Belgium, we ran into this old maintenance place for trains... The place was abandonded but the huge doors were wide open... No, I didn't need a second invetation...

Just imagine... You walk into a shed and there are se-ve-ral old motorcycles in there... Covered in dust, just waiting to get kicked back to live again... Only if we could be so lucky... (Notice the banana peel on the handle bar?)

Cool crate...

The front brakes needed maintenance again a few weekends back, dragging and sticky is what they were... To get the front wheel of the ground I use the mid stand and as a support under the frame I use a... Grolsch beer crate... Very handy (multi purpose) tool to have hanging around...

Cool lights...

The mrs and me went to the theatre with some friends a few weeks back... It's a cool building with some interresting lights... Couldn't resist snapping them...

So, here's an insight for ya... This is how longs look when you have pneumonia... In my case this might be #6 or #7, I lost count... And man... it hurts, in the chest... Tomorrow another thorax pica to check how it's developing...
