Cool destinations...

I'm desperate need of a vacation... Me feels like going to a warm and dry climate, maybe Mexico and then run into a graveyard like above... That sounds cool to me... But I think this year we might end up spending not so much money on our holiday to save up for the longer trips...

Cool short reaction time...

This morning I had a very close encounter with a taxi... The blind 50+ year old bitch didn't give way whilst I was on the main road and coming from her right... On the crossing she also had to cross a cycling lane, what if one was biking there at that time...
With block front and rear wheel I cound nearly prefent an accident, all she did was a watery excuse me hand after I horned the hell out of her and made sure she didn't mis understood me...
While passing her I just missed kicking off her (useless) side mirror... Damned...

Been fucking around with a pica of a hotrod from the archieve... Flipped it horizontal, traced it and added some text to it... Did some more picas just to experiment, will upload them in a later stadium...

Saturday the 11th of June, son friend and I went for our annual Whithsunday Run... This year, with our tents on the back of the sickles, we set for Dusseldorf in Germany... We had heavily rainfalls and also loads of sunshine, and loads of fun... This pica is a detail shot of Bas' sickle, a 2005 Triumph Thruxton 900...

Uncool sensations...

This morning, commuting to work on my Young Geisha, it was just another rainy morning... Halfway to Amsterdam I felt a nasty cold and wet sensation creeping up my legg... My waterproff and protective gear suddenly wasn't that waterproof anymore... The cold water creeped trough a seem in the pants to the inside, where my jeans were... Making it's way trough the denim fabric working it's way towards my undies...
Not long after that a cold and wet feeling got hold of my scrotum...

Man, that is not the feeling I'm looking for... Warn and wet, ok... But this is really nasty... After setting up some stuff at work, I ran out to get some dry gear... Now I have some spare for the way home... ha ha ha...

(Un)cool reminders...

Yesterday for my work I had to go and work on location at a customer... To my surprise the location was next to an old WW2 camp... This camp was used to ship prisoners from to other concentration camps like Auswitz etc. The old camp is now an adjucation site, place of rememberance... I had to make this pica... Later that day I went back with my cam and also went to the Russian war graves around the corner...

At the Harley dealer I visited last Saturday, they had a cool Sportster Fourtyeight with some nice goldflake flames on the tank... Nice scooter for the misses me thinks...

On the wall in the back of the store they had glue-on-grip end caps... Very nice instructions/warning...

Been working on a test for a separate website to display my picas and graphic design... Have been working on it for a while in Dreamweaver dough... Today I came across a website with free templates and easy to build site engines... So I gave it a look how easy it really was... Pick your template and edit the bugger... I found this great pica somewhere on the net... We can really call thisone Rusty... The ute is falling apart, even the right front fender is almost falling on the ground... It only needs another blow of wind... I love picas like this...
